Won is an interdisciplinary artist and social worker from Seattle invested in empowering minds to recognize their creative confidence and potential to challenge personal and systemic barriers. Her core works shape growth and hope to light a spark of truth - a projection more than the experience or work itself that transcends beyond material values.
She holds a BA in Interdisciplinary Visual Art and Sociology from the University of Washington and her MSW from Columbia University School of Social Work. She is currently pursuing her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Expressive Arts through European Graduate School while working as an elementary school counselor and art instructor in Bothell, Washington.
Won wonders about the balance between structure and freedom and is on a search toward things most whole and genuine. She feels most home with children and art and hopes to embody herself whole while also creating spaces for children to be able to do the same.
